So I decided to actually fix up my journal with a smexy layout. I ninja'd the original design from These Fancy People Here so that I wouldn't have to take the extra time to learn the workings of live journal-ness, and well.. made it my own ;) Hope you guys likey! I plan to update my header image soon.. when I'm not going through a hair-crisis.. so I force you to wait. ^^

So I thought I'd throw down a quick entry.
Yesterday was Matt's birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEXY BOY!!!

I couldn't resist and sent him a plant (couldn't be so mean as to send him flowers) along with a precious teddy bear and balloon and had it delivered to him at work. ^^ He liked it. Now mind you we're moving TOMORROW, so money's a bit tight, so I knew he'd mention something about money when he received his gift. So I quickly scribbled this reply in anticipation:

After work we had a lovely birthday dinner at chilis. Today we packed all day. Tomorrow we move.
The LOOOONNNGGG trek from North Lauderdale to Fort Lauderdale.. man.. ;) It's sad, even the moving companies laugh when I say that's the move. But seriously.. after moving last year, I'm SO not moving my own shit again.
The new place is a lovely privately owned condo on the water, in a much nicer area. So good stuff all around. I'll have to post some pics after we get all moved in.

That aside, does anyone else, who wears contacts, have a serious problem with getting your contacts stuck behind your eyeball? Cause fuck. This is the second time it's happened to me in like a couple weeks, and it's NOT FUN!!!! I always say, "This is it, the contact is going to cut my eye-cord thingy and I'm going to have no depth perception. I better take out my other one first so I don't run the risk of getting them both stuck.." Yeah.. I'm completely crazy, and there's NO way a contact could.. cut anything.. but damn does it feel like I have a sharp-stabby-blade in my eyeball.

Today was worse than ever before.. it was stuck SO far back.. even looking down as far as I could, and shoving my finger UNDER my eye bone.. and I couldn't feel a damn then, but OH did I know it was back there. Finally, after MUCH eye poking I managed to squeeze the thing out. It came out from the side all folded over. Holy shit, no wonder it hurt so bad.

Goodness my life is full of adventure. My eyeball hurts ;_;

So I've decided to quit my journal.
Not really because I don't post often.. but more because I find myself not liking people when I read their journal.. when I'd normally like them just fine.

I may seriously just be crazy.. or I just don't like many people when I get to know them. Either way, I find it'd be best for me and my current friends that I just stop reading.

Last night was my very first concert EVER. I don't know why I waited so long to go to a concert.. Maybe because no one decent ever really visited the place I lived for most of my life.. So now that I live in south Florida, there's a good band every other week down here.

WELL. System of a Down wandered into town. My favorite band EVER. So I HAD to go.
I went. I'm EXTREMELY happy I did. I love them even more now, and I didn't think that was possible. They sounded even better than their CDs and they mixed the songs up and the ways they played them. It was just the coolest thing EVER. So I'm sitting here in my happy little System of a Down cloud. I suspect I'll listen to nothing but them for the next week or so XD

Mars Volta opened. They sucked HARD. Sad. But True.

Ok so recently I was perusing a lovely art book. Loads of pretty pictures and then info on the artists. I thought that was pretty neat. I noticed they also mentioned all the tools they used along with their computer specs. I think it'd be neat to see what everyone works with. So if you guys are bored, feel free to share your bits too.

Computer System Specs:

Pencil: HB Derwent Graphic, Sanford Col-Erase Light Blue
Inks: Rotring Art Pen size F, Tria Letraset (double sided-no size listings.. so a fat end and a thin end ;)) Rotring Rapidoliner size .25, Double sided Sharpie size fine and ultra fine (Do NOT give me shit about using a sharpie. I've tried many times to part with it in exchange for something.. more expensive? In the end I always go back to Sharpie because I find it to be more... sharp, believe it or not.
Sharpener: Anything shiney and metal. I don't like electric sharpeners.
Eraser: Magic RUUUB! (not pictured. It's less than photogenic at this point)

So I'm moving into this SUPER fab 2 bedroom (1 for the ferrets, 1 for Matt and me), 2 bathroom (so duel pooping can take place XD) apartment in this super nice area. Not only that I'll have this AWESOME forrest view.. which is great because I need work on my overhead tree drawings (3rd floor).

As everyone knows moving is an expensive bitch. Because you all are my wuvluvs I will draw some business for cold hard cash. I need to make $300 and I've also been told I'm not allowed to do commissions.. but you know.. I'm a rebel (and Matt, when you read this, I expect a damn hard spanken XD XD XD). So if you guys have some extra monies (Yeah right, you're mostly all starving artists yourselves) and are in need of some SUPER HARDCORE FANTASTIC HAPPY GOODTIME ART... I'm your gal. ;)

I'm having fucking hell getting my car registered here in FL. It all started when I went outside one morning to find a lovely fat sticker on the window of my car saying my apartment complex was going to have my car towed beacuse the tags are expired. Yes.. my tags do say "10-03" BUT my registration is payed up to date. The DMV fucked up and NEVER sent me my tags or registration because they're retarded. Anyways. This prompted me to get my liscence here and register my car. I was gonna try and do it in one day (cause they were gonna tow my car the next morning)... yeah... right. I went to the Drivers Liscence place and stood in line for an hour or so... only to get to the front and have the guy tell me "Yeah, we're too full and we're closing in an hour. Come back some other day." Can't they tell people that BEFORE they wait for an hour? Fucken' assholes. So I go home and make an appointment this time, and Matt goes to the apartment managers and tells them the situation, and they agree to give us some time after we got the DMV to fax over a receipt of sorts saying that I did pay my fees.
So here I am.. a week later, and it's time for my appointment. I have to wake up at 7:30am on my day off. I'm PMSing and feeling vulnerable. I drive to the mean mean place. Stand in a shorter line. Get to the front and the guy tells me my appointment isn't until NEXT wednesday. At this point I was expecting anything... I don't think FL wants me sometimes. ;) So I told him I'd just wait with the people who don't have appointments, because I needed to get it done today. Well the guy was very nice and decided that I didn't have to wait and moved me on. That was freakin' nice you guys.
A short time later I'm giving the lady my info and then she asks for $20. (Btw, I now HAVE to wear my glasses to drive. Isn't that sad?) I hand her my credit card because I NEVER carry cash. Well no. They only accept cash and checks, OF COURSE. So I have to leave and go to the bank. I come back, pay the lady, get my liscence and move on. Now to go to the place to register my car.
I can't find it. Big surprise. The address itself doesn't fit with the others around where it's suppose to be, so I just gave up and came home. I went to sleep and woke up around 1:30 and set out again. This time trying another registration place I knew the location of. There is no parking.. so I end up parking VERY far away. Of course I'm wearing a skirt that's falling off me. My mother insisted on getting clothing that fit me when I lived with my grandmother. Grandma made me fat. I told my mom the weight would be gone in a month, but she didn't believe me. So I'm sluttin' it with my thong hanging out, and holding up my skirt (which is quite cute) as I go.
I tried to explain that I had no papers that proved the car was mine to the people in the registration office. I had to prior registration because of my CA DMV issues. And my lein holder still had my title. Well they don't let you waltz in and let you just SAY a car is yours. So I have to call my lein holder. Guess what. The bitch isn't there. So I get to go home. *grumbles*
I pull out of the "DMV" and get in the turn lane. I see a motorcycle cop in the next lane over. He sees my liscence plate. He moves his way into my lane, pulls up next to me and tells me to roll down my window. -_- He questioned me about my expired tags. I gave him the long story in a frantic nutshell and showed him the papers I just got from the DMV proving I was trying my best to get my fucken' card registered and that was good enough for him. Thank God. 10 months of driving with an "expired" tag and I get pulled over at the best possible time. I was really happy about that.
Like i said... I woke up at 7:30. My stomach was growling when I woke up, but I didn't have time to eat. So yeah.. I think I'm gonna eat now. I'm fucken' starving. This could also be why my skirt doesn't fit. ;)

Ok for those of you who don't know.. I'm a host a Chili's.. why this is relevant to this post.. I have no idea. ANYWAYS. There's this girl who works there who thinks she's the shit. Not being one to deny someone who IS the shit, to know it.. but she just... isn't even close.
I like to be very friendly to my coworkers.. and I make a point to smile at them all. Every time I saw this girl she'd just glare at me, while I smiled at her. Ok.. whatever. Maybe she just feels so threatened by my striking good looks that she can't bring herself to smile at such devastating competition.. right

Then it got to the point where I was even trying to make polite conversation with her and she blatently ignored me. THAT was it.
She has an obvious weakness. She has no mode of transportation. When I was still trying to be nice to her, I even offered her a ride once. She didn't even thank me. Like it was my duty to cart her fat rude ass around town. Ok...

So when I walked into work today and saw her, I didn't smile at her or greet her, but did so to everyone around her. I didn't run into her for the rest of the night. Then I was leaving and she ran out after me. "HEY!!! HEY!!!!!!" I ignored her. She kept yelling. "HEY YOU! I DON'T KNOW YOUR NAME!!! GIRL!!!" So I turned around.

Stupid Girl:"Hey are you going home?"
Me: "Nope"
Stupid Girl: "Oh.. well I needed a ride."
Me: "Oh that's too bad..." *gets in car and drives off snickering while girl watches*

What... a journal post from me?! Geez what is the world coming to... no really, I swear it's only because I'm putting off the start of another project. :D YEA ME! Oh and with updated colors and icons! wOOt! Mmmmm Leso goodness..

ANYWAYS.. let's see.
Yes.. made it to FL as most of you know.. and I'm having a flat out blast. I LOVE it here. And the boy that keeps me around isn't half bad either. XD Ok.. who am I kidding.. I yubs him ;_;

Today I got my metal DDR pads!!! EEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. My soft cushy ones met their death on the trip here. Melted ;_; What a way to go. Ah well, gave me an excuse to put myself further into debt.. but it was needed.. my tummy is starting to... well.. I'm getting one, let's put it that way, and that's just UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

I haven't played in a good 2 months.. and geeeeeeez did I feel it when I jumped on first thing in the morning. Not that I'm so horribly out of shape that I couldn't keep up.. but because I'm just so out of practice it was sad. It could also be because I was half asleep. I'll try again when I wake up.

Not too much has been happening.. Getting use to my new job.. Hosting is an evil evil bitch. But I'll be fine.
They aren't giving me enough hours yet, so I've been doing commissions, which has gone surprisingly well, especially with my track record of weirdos.
I haven't posted any I've done on DevArt cause well.. I haven't especially liked any of them. BUT I'll post one here. This one was kind of a challenge.. 1 eye.. four arms... snake lady... Geez. I think I pulled her off decently though.

OH! And Matt got in WoW Beta. SOOooo jealous. But that means I get to play when he's at work.. but meh.. I think I'm gonna stay as far away as I can.. that's an EASY addiction there... maybe I'll just play enough to get my chick some pretty clothes.. yes.. that's it... that's all I'll play. Yeah right -_- I'm sure I'll scribble out some fan arts here when I get to draw for myself again.

I have so much to say, but I think I'll just stop my rambling and get back to work. Til next entry ^^

So yeah.. haven't posted much of anything so I suppose a rundown is in order. Matt gets here on Thursday (YEA 4 DAYS!!!!!!! *SQUEEEEEEEEEL*) and we're leaving on Friday for Florida. :D My brother graduates on Thursday... Good times. That's what I'm looking forward to...

The other day I hung out with Danielle (lilypotter82) and that was a lot of fun. I think I've been doing a decent job of seeing old friends before I leave... not that there's many to see. ;) Originally we planned to paint, but then I got this crazy idea that we NEEDED to make shirts. Besdies.. I had a $10 card for Kohls and I wanted cute socks, which I got. Here I am enjoying a pair:

So anyways.. we ended up with these WAY cute smexy shirts... our problem? They stretch. But we were gonna try anyways. We get home.. decide on our pics.. edit them and all that good stuff.. which Danielle decided was a good picture oppotunity :P LOOK AT ME AND MY SHORTCUT KEY USE! *Is cool*

Anyways.. we get our stuff printed out after a few minor printer issues and go to iron... which goes ok. (Last time I burnt it bad ;P) and I see Danielle get her shirt.. and as she's running through the game room, pull it over hear head in a quick mean motion, I about died. The iron on piccy came right off, as I expected with the stretchy shirt. No big deal.. let's just print another one and try again. But no.. I was a dumbass and didn't save the image. so fuck. It got ugly.. and yeah.. Danielle ended up with no shirt, I felt bad. BUT HERE'S MINE!!!!!

About then would have been fun to paint, but the grandparents got home and started asking lots of questions so we got outta there fast. We went to Starbucks and painted our nails ^^

I woke up from a nap with a weirdo dream.. dreampt I was still packing the old apartment (which I'm thankful every day I'm done with) and Rob was there and he was trying to do things to me and then all of a sudden my tooth broke off. I've been having my "teeth" dreams again.. I always thought it just meant I like my teeth and hope they don't break :) But I looked it up: "broken or unusually worn-down teeth are a sign of the deterioration of an important relationship" interesting.. makes sense though.

Last night while sitting in bed after a lovely conversation with this certain boy on the phone.. I was inspired to draw yet another Leso pic:

I was proud that this came out of a sleepy me.. WHILE LAYING IN BED! WOO! Anyways :)

Oh my GAWD... Ok.. I rarely get random IMs.. but today I was just overloaded with them. Seems like one fucktard gets your SN and he tells all his friends. Anyways.. regular customer at CUSA.. gave him my website.. he finds my SN and IMs me. He's very boring.. and overly like "I hope I'm not bothering you." which... bothers me. So I complain to Matt and he livens things up. It was mean what we did to the poor boy, but I ended up telling him it was all in good fun... which is so was. (Matt you're so the coolest boy ever XD) ANYWAYS.. so I get ANOTHER random IM after it's all been said and done for quite a while.. and it's some dude pretending to just find my SN by chance. Well I found out the previous dude had him IM me.. for.. whatever reason. (Both are totally the opposite of smooth.. just jackasses who think I'm an idiot or something.) He was like "Your art is really cool" that was nice.. but after that one sentence.. nothing redeeming whatsoever... I was painting.. I get cranky with stupid people quite easy.. just.. stupid people.. but then people who insult my boyfriend for fun? Oh man.. Yeah.. I'm so gonna give you the time of day buddy. What a FUCKTARD. I blocked him before he could say much of anything. Then his friend was like "Unblock him... blah blah.. he says he's sorry it's that time of the month for you." Yeah ok. let me hurry up and unblock you. Fuckface. I seriously can't believe people. And then he's like "Well he wants you to know that he still likes your art." Good for him. They're both blocked now. I'm taking my IM off my DevArt Site now. Since the people who DO like my art are too fucking stupid to have a civilized conversation with. :) So yeah.. any art buddies who wanted to IM me.. get to settle for email cause people are stupid fucks. Ok I'm done. :)
